Literacy Center Project
Neighbors to Nicaragua piloted a literacy program for over a year at Casa de Los Sueños (The House of Dreams) in Pantanal, one of the poorest barrios in Nicaragua. We currently serve 23 adolescents and
adults ranging from age 9 to age 45. These are deserving, hardworking children and adults
whose need to work for financial survival has prevented them from learning how to read
and write. They are grateful for the opportunity to learn now.
Because of the success of the pilot program, we are building our own literacy center, and we need your support to finish it!

Become a Part of our Journey
As with everything that we do, the Literacy Center will not be possible without your generosity and support. We have been able to purchase the land through previous fundraising efforts and now we must raise an additional $40,000 dollars for the construction of the center. Above are just a few of the students whose lives are continually improving through our literacy program, and you can contribute to this legacy of learning through your gift of a donation today.
